Scope

What constitutes a "visual concept" under these terms?

A visual concept refers to any original composition, layout system, or design presentation created by Osmosis Designs. It does not include generic design patterns, third-party assets, or client-provided materials unless explicitly integrated into a commissioned work.

Ownership

Who retains intellectual property rights after project completion?

Upon full payment, the client receives exclusive usage rights for the final deliverables. Osmosis Designs retains the right to display the work in portfolios and case studies, unless a non-disclosure agreement is in place. Underlying design systems and methodologies remain our intellectual property.

Revisions

How many revision rounds are included in a standard project?

Each project includes two structured revision rounds focused on composition and clarity. Additional revisions are billed at our hourly creative rate. Minor adjustments (e.g., typography tweaks, color shifts) within the first round are considered part of the standard process.

Delivery

What file formats are provided upon completion?

Final deliverables are supplied in industry-standard formats: editable source files (e.g., .fig, .ai, .psd), high-resolution exports (PNG, JPEG), and web-optimized assets (SVG, WebP). Additional format requests may incur a small conversion fee.

Liability

Is Osmosis Designs liable for third-party content used in projects?

We source all imagery, icons, and fonts from reputable open or licensed repositories. Clients are responsible for verifying that any content they provide (e.g., brand logos, copy, photographs) does not infringe on third-party rights. Osmosis Designs assumes no liability for client-supplied materials.

Termination

What happens if a project is paused or canceled mid-process?

In the event of cancellation, the client is billed for all completed work up to that point. Any deliverables produced (concepts, wireframes, drafts) are provided as-is. A 50% deposit is non-refundable and covers initial research, strategy, and creative exploration.
